Agriculture section is under the department of Technical and Applied Sciences which is mandated with the task of training students in both theoretical and practical skills pertaining Agriculture.The section offers training to students in three different levels i.e Artisan, Craft (Certificate) and Diploma.
The Artisan level is done in one year, the Craft (Certificate) Level is done in two years. The Diploma Course is done in a three years modular program, with an exam at the end of each module. The examination bodies are KNEC or TVET-CDACC.
The agriculture section has qualified trainers with the relevant field experience who are always available and ready to offer quality training to the students. Agriculture being the backbone of our economy, in this section we emphasize on practical teaching and learning to enable the trainees to have a hands-on experience. The hands on knowledge in their particular professions give the college graduates a competitive advantage with their future employers and employment creation through self employment.
To adequately prepare students for the dynamic labor market, the college has established meaningful links with leading organizations and industrial partners, who guide the college on practical, professional requirements which need to be built into programmes. With the relevant input from stakeholders, the college courses are tailored to equip our graduates with leading edge skills for the workplace.
During the training an agriculture student will be required to have the following basic items.

- Pencils – HB, H, 2H
